Description
Try plaster stenciling this rose design on to a wall, then paint the entire wall a deep color. Now, once it’s dry, place the stencil back over the raised rose design and paint just the rose with metallic craft paint. What a lovely and very elegant wall treatment for a powder room or even your dresser make over.
Designer’s tip: By diluting acrylic or wall paint in a deeper color with just water, then wiping it over the design and immediately wiping off the excess, you can create an “antiqued” look to your design, bringing out it’s detail even further. Super easy and VERY impressive! Be certain, as the mixture is still wet, to blend it in to your background wall color.
