Oh my gosh, sometimes our customers create something so beautiful that we just have to share it!
Today we’re shining the spotlight on Julie S. from Michigan, who created this gorgeous tree wall mural using our Arched Tree Plaster Stencil and bird designs from our Large Tree Wall Stencil.
And what a beautiful job she did! Julie, we absolutely love what you’ve created!
Bringing the Outdoors In with a Plaster Stencil Tree
Julie took an ordinary wall and transformed it into a beautiful, nature-inspired work of art. Her tree stretches gracefully across the room, with textured branches, delicate green leaves, and colorful birds bringing the whole scene to life.
One of my favorite things about this project is the texture. By using a raised plaster technique, Julie gave the trunk and branches the look of natural tree bark. It’s amazing how much character a little texture can add to a wall!
She used different shades of green to give the leaves depth and dimension, then added our cute little birds for a pop of color.
And can we talk about that birdhouse hanging from the branch? How flipping adorable is that?! Little details can make a project feel so personal and elevate it massively!
Mix, Match, and Make It Yours!
That’s the beauty of working with our stencils. You can mix designs, experiment with colors, and add your own creative touches. Two people can start with the exact same stencil and end up with completely different results!
I love how Julie took a couple of stencil designs and made something completely her own. That’s one of the things I enjoy most about stenciling.
And don’t feel like you have to tackle an entire wall! You could create a smaller tree in a hall, add a branch above a doorway, or go all out like Julie did. (Pssst, I’ll want you to share what you do with me, mkay?)
