Calle Ratkovich is an amazing artist. She’s a furniture artist! (Absolutely my favorite medium!). There is something about taking an old, maybe even tattered piece of furniture, sanding it smooth, adding a favorite color and then decorating it with a raised design to look like hand carving. There’s something so satisfying about that. The love that goes in to it stays with you.
Calle takes furniture of all kinds and styles and turns them in to something truly unique and amazing!
With this set, she painted them a beautiful blue, painted the trim in metallic gold and plaster stenciled our Raised Plaster Anastasia Frieze Stencil on to the fronts.
Calle sells her furniture creations and does very well.
