Want to give some life to your drab wood fence? Do what David Haydu did and stencil a mural of tall sunflowers!
The large expanse of this fence seemed to go on for mile! And yes, it was pretty bland. But David had a vision and stenciled varying heights of our Large Sunflower Stencil across the entire fence.
Using a small roller and exterior paint makes the job go quick!
Simply choose your favorite yellows, greens and maybe a brown or black for the seed head. Roll the small roller in the paint, roll off excess paint on to a pad of newspapers then roll over the stencil openings. I would use a stencil brush for the seed portion.
If your fence is very rough, do a light sanding to make it a bit smoother for a crisper result.
