I once had the daunting task of installing tile in my kitchen. The mess, the expense (Grrr!) and then there was the grouting, sponging and clean up. Maybe if I’d have been doing a simple table top or maybe just creating a cool front to an outdoor grill that might have been a different story. But it wasn’t my idea of “fun” by any means.
Raised plaster tile stencils give you the ability to create the look of tile without the accompanying nightmare. Simply tape the stencil to the area and start spreading joint compound over the stencil openings. It’s easy!
This Raised Plaster Stencil or ornamental tiles is easy to repeat with our registration holes and creates the look of old time tile back splashes and walls in no time! Paint them the same color as the wall or do a color wash over the top of them with a little colored paint mixed with translucent wall glaze. You can even add paint colors directly to the joint compound to save you time and the result is colored tiles.
Tile stencils can be used not only as a back splash design for kitchen and bath, but try using it with cement on your walkway!
