Floor Solutions
If you are dealing with floors that lack style, beauty or are just an intolerable color or pattern, you can do something about it! Linoleum is the easiest to give new life to. Primer, paint and varnish are really all you need! Make it look like travertine tile with a little blended sponging of two colors, or like wood using our Wood Grain Stencils How about a stone or brick floor using our Stones, Tiles and Brick Stencils with paint instead of plaster. Consider giving it some added, delicate detail by stenciling a border around the room on a plain painted floor. Or add just corner designs. A random stenciled pattern over the flooring helps to hide nicks, chips or other flaws in the material as well. Click here to see how it's done: How to paint your linoleum floor
Hard Wood Floors Are your hardwood floors scratched, pitted and unattractive? Until you can afford to give them a completely new finish, Do something fun and add a design to your floor. Stencil a floor rug! Use standard craft paints and then seal with a clear, non-yellowing sealer. Carpet Ah yes, the dreaded, worn out carpet that you can't replace. We've all been there.
