When Rose Wilde, owner and creator of "Wood Icing" contacted me to purchase stencils for her own home, Rose introduced me to this new and wonderful product. When used with our raised plaster stencils on wood surfaces such as furniture and wood paneled walls, the design comes out looking like hand carved wood! Once stained with oil based wood stains, you can't tell where the real wood ends and the design begins! I was amazed and totally delighted! Though joint compound also works on furniture when you plan to paint the piece, wood icing allows you to have raised designs on raw wood then stain the entire piece with wood stains.
