Decorating with Plaster Stenciling

Lipstick Red and Gold Trees make for an Elegant Room.

She could see it in her mind but alas...finding just the right element to add...

She decided upon our Raised Plaster Life-sized Tree to add large, yet delicate detail to the wall.

She painted over the design with the same lipstick red as she had done on the wall then painted the trees in gold.

The look was rich and detailed, not overpowering yet breathtaking and she stood back and felt the pride well up within her.

Every visitor to her home had to comment on and touch the design to "feel" the raise. She was amazed at just how overwhelmed they were.

In our home in Idaho, the guest bath is a very large room with very blank walls. Being that the home is smack dab in the middle of the forest, I plan to use Cathy's idea of doing the trees in gold by plastering them on pale brown walls and then adding the gilded trees in masses to create a miniature forest of gold for our guests. I'm headed for the home decor store as we speak to start picking out the accessories for the room. I can't wait!
