Decorating with Window Treatments

A creative technique that's a cinch!

Paula Welch is one of those women who is nothing short of a creative genius! And it's not only evident in her wall designs, but also in her unique window treatment.

Paula encased the window with trim and added ornamental wooden pieces to the corners. She then hung two long curtains to cross in the center (this requires two rods).

She then draped a ballooning swag over the two. How could you create a ballooning swag with no sewing (I hate sewing with a passion!):

Simple:

Double your length of material and turn it inside out. Gather each end and secure with a rubber band then simply turn it with the right side out and fluff the bottoms! Easy hey? And look how cute it is!
