Karen Di Angelo is a professional Faux Finish Artist with a lot of talent.

Judging by this scrumptious wall finish and the faux wood graining on these interior columns, she has a lot of experience and a lot of vision.

Karen's clients must adore her sense of color, her obvious smooth finishes that look like fine silk wallpapers and Italian painted finishes straight out of some ancient villa and or course, her ability to hang off a ladder for crying out loud!

Karen is also noted as a "2005 Street of Dreams" artist. I saw her work first hand as I am a regular visitor each year!

For those of you interested in having Karen do work in your home, you can contact her at:

Learning the art of Faux Finish can be a never ending process and many of these wonderful faux finishers spend a lot of money and time fine tuning and perfecting their art.

Fortunately  there are faux finish schools across the country with non-stop classes in everything from marbling to waxing to venetian plasters that provide top notch training for these hard working professionals.

However, for those of us laymen who work outside the home at every day jobs, run a family and don't have maids and butlers, we can hire someone like Karen to create the look we want.
